The Metaphysics of Solipsism
by M’nashi
VVV
The Solipsist can be represented by a Sunwheel consisting of an ‘O’ in the center and a plural amount of spokes that take the shape of the letter 'I' within this wheel.

The central O rune represents The Solipsist (or The One) as The All, the very principle of infinity which all things springs forth from. The Inner and Outer Planes, together, form a cosmological wheel, an 'O', which is represented by the O. The Solipsist sleeps in the center of the Wheel, dreaming of reality; He cannot bear to see it removed, the world of reference. When viewed from its center, the Wheel is seen as an ‘I’ extending outwards from self. When viewed on its side, it can be seen as an ‘I’ where you extend from. Therefore, The Solipsist sees ‘Everything is I’ where he is the whole of all there is and all other individuals see “I is Everything” where ‘I’ is the only thing there is. The Sunwheel represents The Solipsist, who is both The One and The All.

The Solipsist embodies the very idea of the Infinite, understood in its only true sense, which is the purely metaphysical sense: the Infinite is properly that which has no limits, for 'finite' is obviously synonymous with 'limited'; that which has absolutely no limits, that is to say the universal All, which includes in itself all possibilities and consequently cannot be limited by anything in any way; the Infinite, thus understood, is metaphysically and logically necessary, for not only does it not imply any contradiction, not enclosing within itself anything negative, but it is on the contrary its negation that would be contradictory.

All things that exist are inherently divine. It's all One; a fragment of The All. The All is everything when you look at reality from the outside. The Solipsist is the creator and the created at once. Connections between All and the One is the nature of the world, and thus all the interlinked laws and webs come together into a harmony that is known as creation.

The alchemical ideogram of "One the All,” is O, the circle: a line or movement that encloses within itself and contains in itself both its end and beginning. In Hermeticism this symbol expresses the universe and, at the same time, the Great Work. Accomplishing the Great Work, symbolized as the creation of the philosopher's stone, represents the culmination of the spiritual path, the attainment of enlightenment, or the rescue of the soul from the unconscious forces which bind it. The Great Work signifies the spiritual path towards self-transcendence in its entirety. This is the process of bringing unconscious complexes into the conscious awareness, in order to integrate them back into oneself.

The twelve radiating spokes within the Sunwheel symbolize individuals within the central principle of Infinity or The All, with the I representing One, or the Individual, while the O represents The All, The Solipsist. One is The All, the source of All and the culmination of All: if the All did not contain the All, it would be nothing.

Given the understanding The All is The Solipsist and that it encompasses and is all things, the logical conclusion is each and every individual is The Solipsist, and that no distinct individuality can be maintained in the face of this. The Solipsist rises up above every height; descends deeper than any depth; concentrates into thyself all the sensations of created things of Water, Fire, Dry and Wet. The Solipsist thinks of finding himself simultaneously everywhere, in the earth, sea or sky; The Solipsist thinks of having never been born, of still being an embryo: young and old, dead and beyond death. The Solipsist embraces everything at the same time: all times, places, things, qualities and quantities.
