You shall never mix all the potato varieties together, we're not here to make potato porridge, peasant! Each and everyone has their own unique flavour and can only be with its own variety. It's not preservation just for the sake of preservation, but rather so that all unique attributes, flavours, consistencies and textures remain pure. If they were to mix together, one day there wouldn't be potatoes, but rather just: "potato." Just like humans, potatoes tell a similar story. One of the hardships and relevance, just so they may continue to exist, one more day... And this while competing with each other for survival of their own kind. Although some will survive, not all will remain to tell a story... Life is not certain, it has never been therefore some end up getting weeded out... But if they are unique or of significance, they survive, as long as their variety survives, all is just, all is right.
