Swappy is a bot, designed to help you complete your card sets.

<b>How to use Swappy:</b>

1) Send a <b><a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="http://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=147623327&token=jNOS2Euh" >Trade Offer</a></b> (<u>not a trade request!</u>) with the cards/backgrounds/emoticons you want and the items you are offering in return.
2) The items you want and the items you are offering must be from the same game.
3) In addition to (2), backgrounds and emoticons must also be of the same rarity.
4) Wait a little. Swappy will automatically accept your trade offer if it is valid. - or decline it.
5) You can swap multiple items at once, you don't have to create a new trade offer for each item :)
6) You can send trade offers <b>even if the bot is offline</b>. Swappy will automatically process those offers the next time he signs in to Steam.

If you don't know what <b><u>trade offers</u></b> are click <b><a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="http://store.steampowered.com/news/11395" >here</a></b> or click <b><a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="http://steamcommunity.com/my/tradeoffers" >here</a></b> to go directly to your trade offer page.

If your trade request gets declined, you probably didn't offer cards of the same game or you offered less cards than you requested.

If you have put up more items than you requested, Swappy will gratefully accept them as a donation.

If you have any problems with Swappy, post them on the profile, it's public.

If you chat with Swappy, Swappy will answer, but remember that Swappy is a bot and all answers are generated by an AI, so don't expect too much.

Trade with Swappy without adding the bot: <b><a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="http://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=147623327&token=jNOS2Euh" >Click here</a></b>

If you're logged in to STM you can use this quickmatch URL to see what items you should trade with Swappy to complete your sets:
<a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://www.steamtradematcher.com/quickmatch/swappy" >http://www.steamtradematcher.com/quickmatch/swappy</a>

01/09/15: Valve added CAPTCHAs to the trade offers. Swappy can not (yet) solve captchas, so the bot will be shut down. EDIT: Swappy has been white-listed, everything is back to normal.

12/12/14: Trading your cards for other community items (introduced 07/06/14) has been disabled until further notice, now that emoticons and backgrounds can be crafted into gems. 1:1 trades for bgs and emotes are still possible (same game + same rarity).

10/25/14: Alright, since Trashbot's trade offers don't work I've created an alternative. The new bot's name is "Trashy" and it brings a feature that's been requested several time on Trashbot's comments: you can only pick 1 item per 1 hour (time limit might change, depending on acceptance).

<a class="bb_link" target="_blank" href="http://steamcommunity.com/id/_trashy" >http://steamcommunity.com/id/_trashy</a>

07/06/14: Swappy now supports trading for non-card community items. You can request any emoticon or background if you offer cards in return.
Exchange rates are as follows:
Common item = 0.3 cards
Uncommon item = 0.5 cards
Rare item = 0.75 card

14/07/14: Swappy now supports 1:1 trading for emoticons and backgrounds within the same game and with the same rarity (common, uncommon, rare).
Trading in Swappy's favor (your uncommon for a common item) works, too.
Exchange rates for card -> item trading have been adjusted (see previous post).

Happy trading :tradingcard:
