To be fair, you have to have a pretty high IQ to understand 29th Infantry. The strats are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of US military manouvers most of the tactics will go over a typical player's head. The recruits understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the dephts of these metas, to realise that they're not just effective - they say something deep about MILSIM. As a consequence, people who dislike 29ID truly are FNGs - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the importance in our catchphrase "salute", which itself is a reference Garmo's Official RS2 Guide endorsed by Tripwire Interactive. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those level 10 noobs scratching their heads in confusion as the genius of 29ID Grenade Practice unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, I DO have a 29ID patch. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the staff sergeant's eyes only.
