Something about this song resonates deep within my soul, an intense mixture of emotions surfacing from inside. The happiness I feel comes not only from this song, but the show, the characters, and the fandom as a whole. Such an overwhelming sense of belonging and, dare I say it, friendship seems almost impossible in this world full of spite and cruelty, yet this fandom, heck, this family is a beacon to those brave and willing to show Kindness to others who are alike and those who are not. It is our devotion and Loyalty to carry on the good spirit of our pony pals in Equestria, intent to show this world that compassion, trust, caring, and Laughter are all virtues we should strive to live out day to day. Bringing joy to peoples' lives is no easy task, yet, with one vision, a single girl out there re-created a childhood dream, unknowingly leaving an unforgettable mark on this world and helping to guide others to finding their own happiness. That is truly a great thing. Through this single notion, many have found hope when they thought there was none, many have found a form of reassurance in the show, yet none of these people are alone. Together, we are massive family scattered across time and space, each of us sharing a connection with the next. In all Honesty, I find that to be one of the most amazing things that has happened in our world. The Generosity of this fandom knows no bounds. We reach out to others, not only because it is expected and a 'good' thing to do, but because we know it is the right thing to do. There are those who shun us and give it their best to humiliate us, even rend our spirit, but all this time we've refused. Our spirit is not torn, nor will it ever be. And that in itself is another form of Magic.
When this amazing show ends, as all things do, I know I am not alone when I say I will look back upon the good times we had, the hardships and trials we faced and ultimately overcame. And until my time, I will continue to keep the undying spirit of Friendship alive and our pony pals close to the heart.

"I imagine there shall be a point for all of us, when we are much older and MLP has sadly moved on, that our kids find this song on our iPods, play it, and have a puzzled reaction. Then your kids get all anxious and concerned and ask, "Dad/Mom, why are crying? This is such an upbeat and catchy song?!?"
Meanwhile, you just stare off into the distance, continually listening to this song, slowly turn to them and say, "....You don't even know....this song is but a short metaphor to an unbelievable series, that led to a groundbreaking fandom, which yours truly is part of, that helped define the person that I am today!"
